Our mission is to empower young girls by providing resource parents with the best tools and resources to help them thrive. We supply essential items that foster confidence and help these teenagers feel beautiful and valued. My Story
“I’m La Tanya Effron — born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, I know firsthand the pain of childhood trauma. Yet, by God’s grace, I’ve risen above those struggles and now walk boldly in my purpose.”
“I am a Bus Operator, a Licensed Resource Parent, and a Motivational Speaker. I am also the proud Founder of Tanya’s Garden of Dayzees and the owner of Tanya Dayzees LLC — two entities that stand side by side with one mission: to uplift foster youth and the families who open their hearts to them.”
🌟 Why I Do This
I am living proof of what love, belief in oneself, faith, and second chances can do. I am the example I needed to see — and now I strive to be that example for foster teens searching for hope and for Resource Parent wondering if their sacrifices truly matter.
Tanya’s Garden of Dayzee’s was born from my understanding of my purpose in life and my promise to give back to the community that raised me. Here, our Little Dayzee’s — foster girls — are seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive. And here, resource families find the practical help and love they so often give, but so rarely receive.
